In an attempt to understand the grid as an aid to the creation of editorial objects, New Wave G appears. In this edition of New Wave, we focus on the postmodern grid and we cite authors such as Wolfgang Weingart, one of the main responsible for the new wave in graphic design, as well as his disciples, April Greiman and Dan Friedman.
This object works as a retrospective of the grid divided into its big three moments: medieval and renaissance times, modern movement and finally the post-modernism. Throughout these periods, the typology and purpose of the grid changed, we are interested in observing this evolution and contrasting its different moments that led us to the postmodern grid.

Este objeto funciona como uma retrospetiva da grelha dividida nos seus grandes três
momentos: época medieval e renascentista, movimento moderno e finalmente o pós-
modernismo. Ao longo destas épocas, a tipologia e finalidade da grelha vão-se alterando,
